In this special year of evangelism, we remind ourselves that “when we work we work, but when we pray God works” (Tim Keller). The battle for the soul of each individual, is not work that we can do ourselves. It is work belonging to the spiritual realm.
Ephesians 6:12-13
12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
As Christ’s church, we must be “battle ready” by putting on the full armour of God covered by the power of our daily prayers.
Join us in the spiritual battle for the souls of the lost in the knowledge that Jesus has already defeated sin and death on the cross! Get ready to witness firsthand God’s incredible power over the stronghold of sin in people’s lives, and know the joy of participating in the growth of the church of Jesus Christ!
