Positive Mindset

Often, we can go through life being caught up in old patterns of experiences
that affect our thinking and decisions. This can often prevent us from reaching
our desired goals. In this 4-week Positive Mindset Croup, we provide a non-
judgemental space that empowers participants to shift negative attitudes into
positive situations to succeed. We offer information about positive psychology
as well as strategies to change your attitude, regain control over your life, boost health, and achieve a sustainable healthy lifestyle.

When: 3rd April 2023

Time: 5.30pm (1 hour) on Mondays until 24th April 2023

Grief & Loss

Grief and loss are complex and painful experiences unique to everyone, and yet, everyone will experience it at some point of life. Contrary to belief, the 5 stages of grief are not the be all and end all to grief as it is so much more layered than this. Grief is the internal part of the loss; it is the emotions and feelings related to the loss. In this 4-week Journey of Understanding Grief and Loss, we provide a safe space that respects each individual in their journey whilst providing information on how to redefine grief and loss from new perspectives.

When: 4th April 2023

Time: 5pm (1 hour) on Tuesdays until 25th April 2023

Supporting Family in Residential Aged Care

The experience of family members coming into care can be an emotionally turbulent time for everyone. There is relief from the family member being able
to have their needs appropriately met in a safe environment but there is also
significant grief & loss of the family member no longer being in the family
home, witnessing physical and mental changes to the person you love and care for and managing their experience of being in a new and unfamiliar place.
These sessions we will explore your experiences, identify coping strategies and discuss the uncomfortable topic of dying and the impact of this for the whole family.

When: 12th April 2023

Time: 5pm (1 hour) on Wednesdays until 26th April 2023
