Reading the Bible is great, but it can be a challenge!
It's not always easy to get into a pattern of reading God's word each day - but the beginning of the year is a great time to make the best start we can! So we've put together some resources to help us all read the Bible each day - or at least each week!
Here are 3 hints that may help and encourage you:
1. Try and set a regular time each day - the same time each day can be really helpful. Maybe before you get out of bed in the morning. Maybe on the train on the way to work or school, or on the way home.
2. If you miss a day - don't worry! So you're a day behind - no big deal. Just pick up where you left off. If your plan or program isn't working, recalibrate and commit to something less, or more. Try and make the end of January the time to decide which plan or pattern to fully commit to.
3. Don't try and catch up! You don't NEED to catch up. Sometimes that just makes it harder to keep going. When you get a big break, maybe you'll want to catch up. But you can really do this program - the Bible in a Year - over 1, 2, 3 or more years! It's just great to have a pattern to work through.

2 Timothy 3:14-17
14But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, 15and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
