Associate Pastor's (Korean) Report

A summary of the Korean ministries in 2022

Joe Hong

March 1, 2023

Thankfully, God sent new members to our Korean worship service, so we are worshiping together. We officially started worship in December 2019, but as we went through several lockdowns together with COVID-19, we prayed for those who will worship together for a long time and waited for God's time. Thank God and also thank the St Phil's church family. The Korean worship service was able to worship without being lonely because the church family prayed together and showed interest. Also, what we are more thankful for is that among the newcomers, there are saints who are starting their lives of faith for the first time, so we are expecting and thankful that we can share the gospel and pray together. Please intercede for a new member of our church.

After worship, we share the gospel and the Word together through small group Bible study, and we are thinking about how to apply the Word of God in our lives, sharing it, and challenging each other. Through this meeting, we get to know each other and become a Korean community. Also, for the purpose of evangelism and the purpose of promoting the church, we are continuing to provide free drum classes. The drum class is expected to open the doors of the church and help many people to come to the church or to recognise the existence of the church in the community.

Lastly, please continue to intercede for Korean worship. Please pray for the spiritual growth and maturation of the members who worship together now, and for the community to move forward in one mind and one direction. Thank you.
