What a tremendous joy it has been to see our Vacation Kids Plus (VKP) program unfold this week. The energy, the laughter, and the sheer delight echoing around the St Phils site have been a beautiful reminder of God’s goodness. This week was fabulously led by Jason and Jo, who, alongside their remarkably amazing team, poured their hearts into making it an unforgettable experience.
The dedication we saw was deeply moving. So many members of our church family took annual leave or gave up their well-deserved term breaks simply to serve, teach, cook and care for the youngest among us. That kind of selfless, sacrificial love is the very heartbeat of our church.
Scripture constantly reminds us of the special place children hold in God's kingdom. Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me... for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these" (Matthew 19:14). There is a profound, blessing in hearing children laugh and enjoy themselves; their joy is the sound of pure, unburdened blessing, and a reflection of the abundant life God desires for all of us.
Furthermore, the Bible speaks of the legacy of faith. Psalm 78:4 calls us to "tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord." These children are not just a blessing today; they are the guarantee of a faithful, future church. By investing our time and love in them this week, we have planted seeds of faith that will grow and bear fruit for generations to come. Thank you to everyone who made this incredible week possible and please join us for our wrap-up service in the main church this Sunday at 9:30am.

A short update on the church finances:
