This Sunday, our entire church family across Eastwood and Ermington - spanning 9 congregations, 4 languages, and all generations - will gather as one for our annual Thanksgiving service. It is a powerful moment to pause, give thanks, and celebrate the magnificent work God is doing in and through us.
In Ephesians 4, Paul reminds us that our unity isn’t something we engineer; it is a reality created by the Triune God. We share one body, one Spirit, one Lord, and one Father. When we gather across language lines and physical sites, we step into that divine gift. Embracing our diversity - with all the patience, humility, and gentleness it requires - isn’t a hurdle to overcome; it’s one way that we grow into maturity in Jesus.
Whether you worship in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, or Korean, when we join together, we complete our body in Christ.
